Continues ‘...I think them very valuable as the Ms. is one of the close of the eleventh or beginning of the twelfth century and appears to have been got up with very great care and attention...’. Refers to a note written by Skene in which he indicates that the pedigrees can be found in a more authentic source. O'Curry expresses his interest in this information. Remarks that Irish historical scholars are ‘...neither mercenary nor jealous, but seek to establish truth...’.
