Relates her experiences of travelling to, and working in, British military hospitals with other Irish Catholic nuns in the Crimea (Scutari and Koulali) when Florence Nightingale was in charge there. States that she writes at the instigation of Frs Molony and Ronan. Refers to the bad relations that existed between the nuns and Nightingale, and the charges of proselytism laid against the former.
