The minute books are in the handwriting of Fr John MacErlean SJ who was the secretary of the Commission (15 December 1934 - 7 June 1935, 51pp; 18 January - 7 June 1935, 43pp). Includes a letter from Fr John MacErlean SJ, Milltown Park, Dublin to the Irish Fr Provincial concerning protests against altering the Custom Book. Remarks 'I put in (a notebook) everything that came into my head that might be made use of in building up our protest.' (10 April 1940, 1p).
